About Toolkeel

Everyday online tools, built carefully, that do not ask you to hand over your files.

Why it exists

Many free tool sites upload whatever you give them (passport scans, contracts, family photos) to servers you know nothing about. They are often crowded with ads disguised as download buttons, and they spring a paywall after you have already done the work.

Toolkeel takes a different approach. Modern browsers can compress images, edit PDFs and process text on their own, so every tool here works inside your browser tab. The name comes from the keel of a boat, the part that keeps it steady and on course.

What we promise

  • Your files stay on your device. No tool on this site uploads your files or text. How to verify this.
  • Free and unlimited. No sign-up, no daily cap, no watermark.
  • Honest limits. Every tool page says what it cannot do.
  • No dark patterns. No fake countdowns, surprise paywalls or ads disguised as buttons.
  • Accessible. Tools work with a keyboard and screen readers. Accessibility statement.

Who runs it

Every tool is written, tested and documented in-house. Our editorial policy explains how we test tools and check facts in our articles.
