About this tool
Text copied from a PDF usually breaks at the end of every visual line. "Remove, keep paragraphs" joins lines within a paragraph but keeps the blank lines between paragraphs, which is what you want most of the time. "Remove all" produces a single block.
Options apply in a fixed order: strip HTML → line breaks → trim → spaces → empty lines → duplicates → sort → find and replace. Sorting is "natural", so item 2 comes before item 10, and it is not case-sensitive.
Good to know
Stripping HTML removes tags but does not decode every HTML entity.
Very large texts (several MB) may update slowly.
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove line breaks from text copied from a PDF?
Paste it in and choose "Remove, keep paragraphs". Sentences join up again while paragraphs stay separate.
How do I remove duplicate lines from a list?
Tick "Remove duplicate lines" (and "ignoring case" if Apple and apple should count as the same).
Can I sort a list alphabetically?
Yes. Choose A → Z under "Sort lines". Numbers inside lines are sorted naturally.
